So for my wedding July 19th, 2017 I wanted to
make my own wedding bouquet holder so I started looking around online and I
found how to make one quite ingeniously! I took a paper towel tube and I
decided to keep the length because when handling it really isn’t that long but
one can cut it down for a smaller holder if they like.
So I took the tube and I bought some thicker white ribbon as
the sheer ribbon I had didn’t look right. In a spiral design I hot glued the
white ribbon all the way down the tube and then took a piece of ribbon and
glued it to the bottom hole of the tube. Then I took some pink mesh wrap
ribbon, I bought blue as well but I came to like the pink better even though
both colors fit the color scheme of the wedding, and I carefully hot glued that
over the white ribbon. It took about two days to finish because I did it in
spare time after work but it was so worth it. It turned out beautifully!! Now
after I added the pink mesh wrap ribbon I added one blue dragon fly decoration
to the side of the bouquet holder. Voila it was finished!
Now anyone can change the color of the base ribbon and mesh
wrap ribbon and the decorations to fit their wedding color scheme and likes!
The goal is to have fun with this super simple and fun creative item for your
wedding!
Bear in mind the flowers themselves and the arrangement may
alter the look or not fit the holder so see about that. I made my holder before
my bouquet was made and Karen who made my bouquet fit it all together on the
day and though a little heavy I just kept my hands in a certain way so the
heavier bouquet didn’t fall out of the holder or crush it in anyway.
