GIMME! GIMME! GIMME! (A MAN AFTER MIDNIGHT) LYRICS

One of my My Fav songs from Mama Mia
Half past twelve And I'm watching the late show in my flat all alone How I hate to spend the evening on my own Autumn winds Blowing outside the window as I look around the room And it makes me so depressed to see the gloom There's not a soul out thereNo one to hear my prayerGimme! Gimme! Gimme! A man after midnight! Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the day Movie stars Find the end of the rainbow, with their fortune to win It's so different from the world I'm living in Tired of TV I open the window and I gaze into the night But there's nothing there to see, no one in sight There's not a soul out thereNo one to hear my prayerGimme! Gimme! Gimme! A man after midnight! Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the day Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! A man after midnight! Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the dayThere's not a soul out thereNo one to hear my prayerGimme! Gimme! Gimme! A man after midnight! Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the day Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! A man after midnight! Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the day

FRUSTRATED! Can't Get Literary Agent

I can't get a Literary Agent for my Series of Novel's I've been writing for the past five years. I am so frustrated I keep getting Thanks for sending us your Query but it's not right for our agency but best of luck in finding representation. Now I get depressed even looking at my own work. I think it's time I stop it isn't my Novels fault it isn't getting published it's mine. I probably am not any good at writing but I love it. I knew I wouldn't be some famous writer but I at least want one of my novels 2 be published and be given a chance. I now it's a hard field to get into and that the agents can't take on people they believe they can't sell their manuscript. I don't want to stop writing but for the time being I might stop looking for Literary representation.

Contador, Armstrong trade barbs after Tour

MADRID (AP)—Alberto Contador and Lance Armstrong are sniping again after a fragile truce during the Tour de France.
Contador, who secured his second Tour win on Sunday in Paris, said he had no admiration for the American as a person and tensions between the two had a negative effect on the Astana team. Armstrong, the seven-time champion who finished third in his first Tour since 2005, responded that Contador should “drop this drivel.”
“My relationship with Lance Armstrong is zero,” Contador said late Monday in his hometown of Pinto outside Madrid. “He’s a great rider and he did a great Tour. Another thing is on a personal level, where I have never admired him and never will.”
Armstrong, who had criticized Contador as being inexperienced earlier this year, responded with his own salvo on Twitter.
“Hey pistolero, there is no ‘I’ in ‘team’. what did I say in March? Lots to learn. Restated,” Armstrong wrote.
The “pistolero” remark stems from Contador’s habit of celebrating victories by shooting an imaginary pistol.
“Seeing these comments from AC (Alberto Contador). If I were him I’d drop this drivel and start thanking his team. w/o them, he doesn’t win,” Armstrong added. “A champion is also measured on how much he respect his teammates and opponents.”
Contador and Armstrong entered this year’s Tour jousting for position as the Astana team leader—an unusual situation in cycling, where team’s normally have a clear No. 1 rider who is supported by the rest of the squad. While Armstrong briefly held a slight edge over the Spaniard in the first week, Contador proved too strong in the mountains and was able to pull away for a decisive edge in the Alps.
On a couple of occasions, Armstrong questioned Contador’s tactics during the race, saying they went against the good of the team.
“It was a tense situation,” said Contador, who also won the race in 2007. “We didn’t have fluid communication despite the fact that we were the two main riders on the team. And this meant the rest of the cyclists and the technical staff also felt a bit of tension.”
Armstrong is launching his own U.S.-based team for next year, while Contador’s future with Astana remains uncertain.
“Wherever I go I will look for a teammate who is with me 100 percent,” Contador said.

Okay after reading this I think Contador should show some respect to Armstrong. Contador is a strong rider and I pretty much knew he would win I wanted Armstrong 2 win though. Next Year I hope Armstrong wipes the floor with Contador. They are two good riders. I think Contador is 2 cocky and doesn't respect his team or other riders a serious flaw in a race like this. Armstrong is older and has more experience Seven wins 2 Contadors two. I think Contador needs to remember the thing we all learned in school "IF you can't say anything Nice don't say anything at all" since he's acting childish in his comments please it's over just wait till 2010 Le Tour De France then bring it.

Le Tour De France

Seriously who doesn't get addicted to watching Le Tour De France. This is my first year of really watching it and I am addicted. Watching those cyclists puts me in pain. I feel there pain man I would have died doing what they do. I realize they train there whole life for this but man I couldn't do it. Love to watch but couldn't do half of what they do. I have respect 4 what they do. I wonder who will win this year my guess Armstrong or Contador. Don't know I am still learning about the race each time I watch not sure half the time what going on. But I still can't look away. Love it and Hope 2 watch more if I have time.

Thanks

Giant Mystery Blob Moves Through Alaskan Waters

Hey siss thanks 4 the story now I have another odd thing 2 add to my blog.

It's big, it's black, it's gooey and it may be alive.
Giant blobs of thick, oily biological material are floating in the Arctic Ocean's Chukchi Sea north of the Bering Strait, reports the Anchorage Daily News.
"It's certainly biological," Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Terry Hasenauer told the newspaper. "It's definitely not an oil product of any kind. It has no characteristics of an oil, or a hazardous substance, for that matter."
No one in the North Slope towns of Barrow and Wainwright can recall ever seeing anything like it.
Jellyfish and sea birds are getting caught up in the sticky, stinky stuff, which according to one official "has hairy strands on it."
"It's definitely, by the smell and the makeup of it, it's some sort of naturally occurring organic or otherwise marine organism," added Hasenauer.

Sweet Poem!!

This is one of my favorite love poems. I think if a man thought this of me I would be in love with that man forever. I think it is a lovely sweet poem. I think this is what a soul mate and best friend really means. I think when your with someone you want to be different for that person and the feeling is mutual.
“Love” by Roy Croft
I love you,Not only for what you are,But for what I amWhen I am with you.
I love you,Not only for whatYou have made of yourself,But for whatYou are making of me.I love youFor the part of meThat you bring out;I love youFor putting your handInto my heaped-up heartAnd passing overAll the foolish, weak thingsThat you can’t helpDimly seeing there,And for drawing outInto the lightAll the beautiful belongingsThat no one else had lookedQuite far enough to find.
I love you because youAre helping me to makeOf the lumber of my lifeNot a tavernBut a temple;Out of the worksOf my every dayNot a reproachBut a song.
I love youBecause you have doneMore than any creedCould have doneTo make me goodAnd more than any fateCould have doneTo make me happy. You have done itWithout a touch,Without a word,Without a sign. You have done itBy being yourself.Perhaps that is whatBeing a friend means,After all.
